Yeah, this blog is typically about joking around and poking fun at the stupidities of celebrities and people in our world, but we’re definitely sobered up for this one.

It had been reported and rumored that Bernie Mac had died for about a week now, but reports from his publicist always stated that he was in the hospital for a severe case of pneumonia and that he was responding well to treatments.

It saddens us to announce that Bernie Mac died this morning (8/19/08). Not many details are available at the moment, but his publicist is asking that their family’s privacy be respected at this time. Mr Mac was 50 years old.
