As a Daygo native, what more can you say to Chargers losing against New England Patriots (24-21)? After all their hard work, it’s tough to accept such a loss knowing how close we were from heading to the super bowl. In fact, a lack of sportsmanship from the Pats just makes it more worse for Charger fans. As humble a person Tomlinson is, I can understand his behavior after the game [view YouTube]. Unfortunately, his actions caused media to misinterpret what happened. A failure to advance to Super Bowl XLI, could also mean Schottenheimer’s job as San Diego’s NFL head coach. No matter how difficult the circumstance, there’s nothing left to do but hope for the best, prepare for the worst, and keep in mind of our achievements (i.e. 2006 AFC West Champs; LT as MVP, single most season TDs;) this season.
