Jay-Z’s or Nas’? Which album pushes more weight?

To be honest, it’s hard to tell. After listenin’ to both albums in it’s entirety, it’s impossible for me to choose sides. Kingdom Come resembles a more mature Hov. Considering his long years spent in the rap game, Kingdom Come proudly shows how much he’s grown so much since the 1st time he entered the rap biz. In addition, his hard work finally paid off, which means you can’t hate him for tooting his own. The question is, ‘Does that make Jay a lesser emcee?’ The first time i saw Jay-Z in that Budweiser Ad, I thought he was a pure flake, turning his life over to the corporate world. But in the other hand, songs like “Lost Ones,” “Trouble” and “Beach Chair” proves he’s no different than the next person. Whether you like it or not, rich or poor, we’re all faced with problems and hardships.
“Quote-end-Quote” from Jay-Z - ‘Beach Chair’
life is but a dream to me, gun shots sing to these/
other guys but lullabys don’t mean a thing to me/
I’m not afraid of dyin’, I’m afraid of not tryin’ /
everyday hit every wave like im Hawaiian
i don’t surf the net, no i never been on myspace/
too busy letting my voice vibrate carving out my space/
in this world of fly girls, cut Throats in diamond cut ropes i twirls/
Benz’s round corners where the sun don’t shine/
i let the wheels give a glimpse of hope in ones grind/
some said “Hov how you get so fly”/
i said from not being afraid to fall out the sky/
Nas and ‘Hip Hop is Dead’ his upcoming album is a totally different story. First off, the title itself, ‘Hip Hop is Dead’ causes so much controversy that hip hop fans are giving their undivided attention. From what I got out of the promo, he pretty much gives reason behind the phrase. For instance, how much hip hop is missing, or how artists stick to the same quota. Also brings up old school pioneers such as kool herc, big daddy kane, and mc ren. A good thing to mention kool herc, because what’s wit the whole”Roll to Every Station, Wreck the Dj”? Just something I find mind boggling. Notable Tracks: “Hustlers,” “Still Dreaming,” “Not Going Back”…
“Quote-end-Quote” from Nas - ‘Still Dreaming’
How you a man waitin’ for the next man to get rich?/
Yo’ plan is to stick out yo’ hand real quick/
So if he feed ya family and he serve you shit/
Then he need that head you get and he deserve ya bitch/
Since you wishin’ cash fall from the sky all ya life/
Dwellin’ on the past when you was alright/
When you was gettin’ cash but wasn’t too bright/
Now ya luck down you feel like, bustin’ them shells/
Nobody owe you, can’t do nothin’ for self/
Want niggas to show you, how to come up wit’ green/
I scheme since I’m fourteens, what the fuck was your dream?/
Rental cars, little broads, sayin’ you was seen/
Wit’ little niggas wit’ a chain you was doin’ ya thing/
How high was I? You the thousandth guy/
That came around thinkin’ we can see, eye to eye/
We on a different echelon, coulda got bread together/
Now you gets deaded on/
